And that’s it for the actual concert part 8D It was a pretty good concert, I think, and really excellent for their first Tokyo Dome show. There were a few songs that I could have done without, and a few songs that I missed, but not bad. I might do another post like this for the encore and the MCs and the extra crap, but not right now, this was enough for me XDD

Wtf sleep schedule. I must have been more tired than I imagined last night-- I was trying to take a nap around 8ish, with the plans of waking up around 10 to do some work. ...that did not happen. When I woke up I thought it was 1 or 2 in the morning, but nooo. It's 5 am. And there's pen on my arm from where I slept on my ... well, pen.

<.< Man. I must say, though, my new blanket is A++ for keeping me nice and toasty, though. Usually just a blanet will wake me up due to cold.

...yeah, I think that's about it. I mean, we through a quick surprise lets-eat-cake birthday party for Massey on Thursday, even though it's birthday's not till Monday. :D And that was fun. But the amount of work I have to do this weekend is mindboggling. I'm really kinda glad I'm home, so it's quiiet. ... kinda.

There's definitely something in it, I keep hearing movement, and something that sounds like claws. And normally, I'd assume it was a mouse, or something, but uh.

I definitely just heard a 'meow'.

Edit: Well, after a very loud noise, it appears that whatever was stuck has managed to get free. Or is dead.

I'm warning you now.

I really need someone to keep me from reading a book at night, with the intent to finish, so that I stop staying up to 4:30 in the morning, right before I go back to school. It's one thing if it's a really fantastic and amazing book, but the one I read last night was just mediocre. :\ If anyone's wondering, it was Deerskin by Robin McKinley. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I was expecting either, and there were times when I was just ...confused, with the way she skipped time. I guess I just prefer Sunshine.

In other news, there was a no-see-em in my room last night. 8| I couldn't tell, but I'm bit up, so I'm thinking that's a good indication. I'm also a little bit burnt from sitting out in the sun for a few hours (only on my chest, thankfully). So it goes. I don't mind the burn, so much as I mind the freaking bugbites @@;

Today is my last day of vacation--I spent last night taking care of my sick grandmother, we're all really worried that something is going to happen :\ I'm more worried what will happen when I leave, because then she'll be alone. ...eh, then again, I really don't want to think about what might happen.

When I get home, I still have so much crap to do, like finish my artworks and pack--Massey, what time/date do we have to move in on? >> I lost my paper.

Well, I've started off the new year on the right foot, starting by getting super-sick yesterday. XD; it was majorly sucky, just because there was so much I wanted to do before going to Florida and I couldn't do any of it, I was really that sick @@; my stomach still isn't exactly entirely happy, but at least I'm able to function, to some extent.

On a political note, I am both pleased and annoyed by the results of the Iowa caucus. I know, in the end, it really doesn't mean who is going to win the race, but it's not a bad indication. I'm excited that Obama did win for the Democrats, I didn't think he would. But that Huckabee won for the Republicans really pisses me off 8| I really don't have that much of an opinion on the Republican candidates, but dear god, if there's one person that I don't want to win the nomination, it's Huckabee. >/ and I'll quit life if he wins the goddamn presidency.

... man, everyone on this flight is freaking over 70. I feel really, really young.

To happier topics--I am very excited that Uchi will be in a drama--I think he's a great actor. >> I'm even more excited that Ryo will be guest staring. But I'd still rather him be back with his badns, so I'm going to wait and see. At least he's appeared on stage with both of his bands, since his suspension. 8| I'm just hoping that no one in the drama has an underage alcohol, drug use, or subway hopping issue, or I'll just cry.

It's both frustrating and exciting to be home. Frustrating, because I don't have the car most of the time. Exciting, because I have a big beg, once again.

I've been spending too much money lately: $150 on books in the last two weeks (>>;;;) and I spent $140 last night on a 300 GB external hardive. XD; Couldn't pass up the deal, honestly. Plus, I have about 1.5 GB left on my PC, while I have... 7 GBs left on my laptop. Time for a change, I say!

So while I've been spending all my money, I am now looking for a job. _o_ I applied two places today, so we'll see how that goes. If nothing comes to frutition, I'll continue to look elsewhere. I'd love to have an office job (or work in a book/art store) right now, but no luck.

In school related news, I start summer classes (Intro Statistics and Intro Sociology) Monday. Woo. But I also recieved my grades for this past term, and ended up getting all As (YAY). My total GPA then is a 3.97. :D Yes, Ryan, you make smack me.

So, to take a break from going crazy with exams and the overbearing issue of unjustly getting a D on a paper simply because the teacher is a biased bitch, I've decided to dedicate myself to ranting about my favorite topic of all time.

Yoshiki is an idiot.

I have no idea what can possibly be running through that man's head, other than both he and Sugizo are having midlife crisis..es? Crisi?

Anyway, yes. First, we have the Ultimate Ego Trip Band ever. The Gackt, Yoshiki, Sugizo and co. Extravagant Masterpiece, which will throw fandoms into a hissy fit. It sounds wonderful, but no one is sure that it can happen.

But that's not enough. Nooo. Yoshiki has to go and start talking/"Negotiating" with Toshi again, so X might come back. The inner fangirl in me is ecstatic to see them back again, even though I know it wouldn't be the same. ...but then again, none of the four has aged a day in ten years, that has to say something.

Then we have Sugizo. Not only is it rumored that he'll be replacing hide in X Japan's lineup, but it's also said that Luna Sea will be coming back as well.

... not that I see any of this happening, but I just wonder if Yoshiki will ever release that damn Violet UK CD. Because if he can't do that, what chance is there for X to come back?

Despite the shitty week that's happened so far (and it's only Tuesday) tonight is going to be awesome.

Tomorrow is a busy day. Class from 9-2, work from 2-3:45, Emerging Leaders Reception from 4-6, Student Senate meeting from 7-8. And in addition, I have two tests on Thursday, one for Statistics. D: Woe.

Good news, in regards to my room, though! My new roommate likes the heat and having the window closed ;~; ...unfortunately, or room smells a little odd, but uh. Yeah. We also have matching sheets, it's kind of creepy.
